Lacey’s courage

WHAT an astonishingly courageous wee girl five-year-old Lacey Curran is (see pages 12&13).

Some of us balk at the thought of even getting a jab at our local health centre — she has already undergone 100 surgical procedures and will face further hospital treatment as she gets older.

The word “brave” hardly does her justice.
