Talk on John Muir
MONIFIETH Probus Club members enjoyed an illustrated talk by Dr Terry Isles on the Scots-born explorer and conservationist John Muir.
He discussed the important part Muir played in the establishment of the USA’s national parks.
Club president Ian Scott chaired the meeting and his predecessor Ron McPherson proposed the vote of thanks.
