Bain bust up a worry at Dundee
THE Scott Bain stand-off at Dundee is not a good situation for the club.
There doesn’t seem like there’s been any reconciliation and if the PFA are involved over reports the keeper was fined and refused to pay it, then it doesn’t look like that’ll happen any time soon.
He’s such a big player for the Dark Blues and that’s a worry for me.
Not just this season but for the past few, he’s been excellent and keepers of his level are difficult to come by.
You can understand bust-ups happening in dressing-rooms when you’ve got passionate players defending themselves.
Players demand from each other and you’d rather see that and just an acceptance of failure. However, there’s obviously a line that’s been crossed.
Boss Neil McCann has been adamant from the start that he’ll do things his way.
It’s a big problem for him, though, because he has to show he’s in charge but that means dropping one of his biggest players — someone who can be the difference between winning and losing.
With the run Dundee are on at the moment, too, that’s a big, big worry.
