BBC needs to move with times

-

LORD Hall of the BBC has told us the broadcasting company is in £500 million shortfall.

Why then continue with a BBC licence fee?

Surely licence fee-payers part with their cash in good faith believing the BBC is being well-funded by their benevolent monies?

They are not thinking the company is sinking into an economic quicksand.

Good intentions towards the BBC is their aim.

The company should get into the savvy, techno age and change to subscriptions, whereby you need a plastic smart card, fed into a digibox to access its programmes.

Get out of the stone age of technology is my advice to BBC television, then you will prosper.

The BBC is valuable to our nation and I don’t think anyone denies it is a pioneering force.

In dramas, sitcoms, etc, the list goes on, the broadcaster produces first-class entertainment.

BBC fan.
