No Bain for Dee U/20s

SCOTT Bain (above) was a notable absentee for Dundee’s U/20 side in their 2-1 loss at Hibs yesterday afternoon.

The goalkeeper has reportedly been in dispute with manager Neil McCann after a bust-up following the defeat to Hamilton.

He was forced to take the bench for the Development side two weeks ago by the manager and was left out for the following fixture at Hibs.

It remains to be seen, though, if he’ll be back between the sticks for the first team this weekend at home to Kilmarnock.

Other first-teamers involved in Edinburgh yesterday were centre-backs Julen Etxabeguren and Kosta Gadzhalov, midfielder James Vincent and winger Randy Wolters.

Scott Allan played the full 90 minutes to further his comeback from injury as a second-half Matthew Henvey strike wasn’t enough to prevent a third defeat of the season.
