Coming together for Dee

-

ROSS County being such a tough place to go, Dundee’s 2-0 victory up there was a big, big result for Neil McCann (above).

No matter how the Staggies are doing, it is always a difficult trip.

However, the Dark Blues really played well and deserved the three points.

It feels like everything is coming together for Dundee at the moment.

All their hard work is paying off after their stuttering start and I’m glad to see it for the team and for the manager.

Two clean sheets in three has the defence playing with a load of confidence.

A big part of that is Elliott Parish.

Coming into the team under the circumstances surrounding Scott Bain’s exclusion wouldn’t have been ideal but he hasn’t let anything distract him.

It could have been a real problem for McCann but Parish has taken any heat that could have come his way off the manager.

Going into Friday, they’ve got to be confident — they’ve just beaten Rangers who have then won home and away against Aberdeen, so they must fancy their chances.

I HAVE to admit I had a wee look at the World Cup draw on Friday. It’s probably me just being bitter but England seem to get favourable draws all the time, don’t they? They definitely got a decent one this time around so the pressure will be on come Russia in the summer.
