with Stanton, Scott Fraser and Billy King all netting doubles in recent weeks and months.

Stanton concedes they struggled to find the net earlier in the season but since manager Csaba Laszlo came in last month they have been liberated by his attacking philosophy.

“It’s helping us open up teams a lot more.

“We’ve been unlucky recently. We could’ve scored a lot more goals than we’ve been scoring.

“We’ve certainly been creating the chances to score more goals anyway and I think those chances will come.

“If the chances keep coming, the goals will follow.

“I scored three in a couple of games a wee while ago.

“Goals are being shared around the team a lot, there’s been a lot of different goal scorers.

“Of course I want to score as many goals as possible but the most important thing is we’re winning, regardless of who’s scoring.

“We’ve got five or six players who can always chip in with goals which is always a good thing to have.

“You need to get it done regardless of who you’re playing or where you are playing. We need to try and keep this run going.

“The group of players we’ve got are all very good quality. It’s not a massive squad but as long as we keep players fit we’ll always have a chance of winning games.”
