Club assault denied

SYED Abedin, of Arbroath Road, denies a charge of assaulting another man in a Dundee nightclub.

Abedin, 35, is accused of assaulting Gary Dailley at Underground Nightclub, South Tay Street, on December 17.

It is alleged he punched Mr Dailley on the head to his injury.

Trial was fixed for April 16, with an intermediate diet on March 22.
