Man appears in private

RONALD Kinmond, of Barnes Avenue, appeared in private before Sheriff Alastair Carmichael on a petition.

It is alleged that 43-year-old Kinmond attempted to break into the garage attached to a house at St Michael’s Yard, with intent to steal, on December 30, while he was on bail.

Kinmond made no plea and was fully committed for trial.

He was remanded in custody.
