ST JOHNSTONE defender Brian Easton hopes his side can take their secondhalf form against Dundee into their Scottish Cup tie against Albion Rovers at Cliftonhil­l a week on Saturday.

Saints lost 2-0 at home to the Dens Park team but played much better in the second stanza.

Easton, just back after two months out with a knee i n j u r y, s a i d : “We d i d well despite having only 10 men.We fought very hard to take something from the game.”

He came on in the second half of t hat match and added: “It was frustratin­g being out for two months but nice to get back.
