Skondras handed ban

HAMILTON’ S Ioannis Skondras has been handed a five-match ban following his red card against Ross County.

The defender was shown a straight red after an angry confrontation towards the end of Accies’ 3-2 win over County in December.

Skondras has already served two games of the suspension, and will now miss Accies’ next two games against Motherwell and Hearts after admitting to a Scottish Football Association charge, while there is a suspended onematch ban should he see red again this season.
