Finally got a in Meekings?
chance is there for Meekings to nail down his spot in the team, which will only be a plus for Dundee going forward.
So, what of the other recent Invernessto-Dundee transfers?
James Vincent
Central midfielder Vincent is still a Caley Thistle legend after his winner in the Scottish Cup Final in 2015.
It’s fair to say the 28-year-old hasn’t reached those heights after his move to Dundee the following year.
Under the current management, Vincent has featured five times — only suffering one defeat in those five.
The last, however, was the 1-1 draw at Kilmarnock with an appearance off the bench back in September.
Since then he’s had to make do with U/20s games and has been heavily linked with a move to Dunfermline.
Danny Williams
Wide man Williams never managed to grab a regular run in the team after joining at the same time as Vincent. Tried on both wings and then as a back-up left-back this season, Williams eventually grew frustrated and left the club in November.
He has since signed for Accrington Stanley.
Nick Ross
A tidy little footballer, Scotland U/21 cap Ross’ lack of physicality was his undoing as he left at the end of a two-year deal last summer, having played 56 times for Dundee.
