Big doubts over Haber’s fitness

-

DUNDEE will welcome back Sofien Moussa tomorrow against Hamilton Accies but there is a big doubt over Marcus Haber’s fitness.

Both targetmen missed the 1-0 defeat to Hibs on Wednesday with Moussa suspended and Haber out injured with a back problem.

That left the Dark Blues lacking a physical presence at the top end of the park against the Hibees and it’s expected Moussa will slot straight back into the starting XI.

Whether or not Haber is an option, Dundee will have to wait and see.

The Canadian international was close to a comeback last weekend against I nv e r ne s s bu t wasn’t fit enough to feature and has needed an injection in his back this week.

Also nearing a return are Roarie Deacon and Lewis Spence after their lengthy lay-offs.

Deacon has been suffering from a problematic thigh issue since the 2-0 defeat at Hearts i n midDecember but has begun training again.

Also working hard to be back i s Spence after a successful operation on his ankle back in November.

He might find it difficult to force his way back into the Dark Blues midfield with the current trio of Glen Kamara, Paul McGowan and Mark O’Hara performing well recently.

Manager Neil McCann, though, will be glad of another option to choose from.

Also available is defender Kerr Waddell after he served a suspension on Wednesday.
