Jim to be PC or not PC? Silly question!

-

JIM Davidson is “On The Road Again” — and he’s sure to ruffle a few feathers with his spin on the politically correct world we live in.

Very much the people’s favourite comedian, his new show is billed as “outrageous and truthful as ever” — and you just know he’s going to deliver.

Jim was born in Blackheath, London, and attended St Austen’s School in Charlton. He had his first taste of entertaining aged 12 when he was chosen to appear in Ralph Reader’s “Gang Show” at the Golders Green Hippodrome.

A few years later, he found his way back into the limelight when he went along to a pub in Woolwich where the regular stand-up comedian hadn’t turned up. Pushed into it by friends, he ended up on stage telling gags — and the audience laughed. From then on, he took every opportunity to hone his craft in pubs and clubs across London and it wasn’t long before he turned professional.

An appearance on TV’s “New Faces” in 1976 proved to be the turning point for Jim. It was followed by extensive appearances on TV, and the highlights of his career have included five visits to the Falkland Islands, and countless engagements throughout the world entertaining British service personnel.

He regularly tours the UK with his adult stand-up shows and he recently completed a successful debut tour of Australia.
