Harp undone by ’Noull after break

-

KINNOULL produced the comeback of the day in the North League, coming from two down at the interval to win 5-3 away to Lochee Harp.

Lloyd Young put Harp in front but that was cancelled out by Greg Whyte after 16 minutes.

However, Lewis Fyfe and Ryan McKillen were on target for the home side to lead 3-1 at the interval.

Brad Miller’s controversial red card left Harp a man short and the Perth side took full advantage with Darren Gray pulling one back after 58 minutes and David Gray equalising with 11 minutes left.

The sting in the tail for the home side came in stoppage time during which goals Darren Gray and Ben Ragen won it for visitors. Luncarty edged out visitors East Craigie. Given they were a goal down and played three-quarters of the game with 10 men — keeper Gordon Chalmers the man dismissed — the Bleachers certainly showed character with his outfield replacement Dan Walker performing admirably.

Adam Brown put Craigie ahead after 21 minutes but Jake Dolanzski headed an equaliser after 74 minutes and, four minutes later, his second secured a vital victory.

North End’s effort to re-arrange a league match against Coupar Angus paid off as the Dokens chalked up their 14th victory in a row with a 2-0 win. Barrie Pullar and Ryan Smith got the goals.

Violet beat Scone 2-0 at Glenesk with first-half goals from Gavin Thomson (pen) and Cammy Black.

Arbroath Vics produced their best result for a while in beating Lochore Welfare 4-0 at Ogilvy Park.

CraigTosh, Ryan Robb, Josh Chalmers and Kenny Hay netted for the hosts.
