Boss McCann is looking for more

-

DUNDEE manager Neil McCann believes his side can take something from Celtic Park when they face the champions i n the Premiership tomorrow night.

Neil is hoping his side can bounce back from Saturday’s disappointing 1-0 loss to Motherwell with a similar performance and better result from the last time they played at Parkhead.

The Dark Blues showed up well i n defeat at the home of t he Hoops i n October, losing out 1-0 to an Olivier Ntcham goal.

And Neil is looking for that little bit more this time round.

“We go to Celtic Park and try to prepare properly to go and get a result,” he said. “We fared very well against them the last time.

“I expect Celtic to be coming out firing because maybe t h ey ’r e h u r t i n g going out of Europe and they’ll be looking to get their league campaign back in order.

“They will know they’re going to receive challenges from the other sides about them.

“We should’ve taken something from Celtic Park and we look to go and do it this time.”

Despite the defeat to Motherwell leaving the Dee eight points off Kilmarnock in sixth, Neil is not giving up on their hopes of a top-half finish.

He added: “It’s going to be difficult now, I’m a realist not a fantasist, of course it’s going to be difficult.

“In that respect it’s going to be difficult but you don’t just roll over and accept.”
