Laszlo expects midfielder to resume action in weeks

“To be honest, I want to be on the football pitch every day but players need their recovery time.

“We will need everyone for these 13 games and everyone needs 100% concentrat­ion.

“It will be normal training but we will look after the players and make sure they recover in the best way.

“It is most important we collect the three points, though.

“That makes it easier for everybody to keep going. If nobody gets injured we will be happy.

“I’m sure not everybody will be available to play every three or four days but it is good we have a larger squad which will help us.”

What had been sometimes approachin­g an injury crisis for United is beginning to ease now with William Edjenguele and Jordie Briels ready to return to first-team action.

Long-term absentees with knee injuries, Fraser Fyvie and Lewis Toshney, meanwhile, are doing well but are not expected to return this season.

Csaba said: “It is good to see Fyvie is in training — light training on his own — but it is good to see.

“Toshney is not yet but he is feeling better and better.

“William and Jordie as well are coming back so we will have some people back very soon and that is important — we have 13 games and we will need everybody.

“For this reason, it is may be good to have the games off but on the other side it will not be easy for them coming back.”
