Dayle first for ’Port

TAYPORT had to come back twice to earn a Premier League point in a 2-2 home draw with Bathgate.

The Fifers were stunned with only two minutes on the clock when James-John Henderson fired the Jags ahead but they hit back six minutes later through Jamie Gill.

’Port had the better chances after this but there was a further surprise for them two minutes from the interval when James Thomas gave Thistle the lead again.

The hosts started the second half well and were rewarded with the equaliser in 52 minutes, with Dayle Robertson scoring his first goal in Tayport colours.
