Appeal for stolen bikes info

POLICE Scotland has appealed for informatio­n about the theft of three bikes from a locked garage i n G l e n m oy Av e n u e , Dundee, between March 14 and 15.

While the crime took place some time ago, and the chances of someone actually witnessing the theft occur are slim, the stolen bikes are quite distinctiv­e, and may have been offered f or sale around the city.

They are a Calibre Two Two mountain bike, which is white with red trim, a Saracen Urban Cross mountain bike, which is blue with green trim, and a Raleigh Cayusa mountain bike, which is white with blue trim.

Each bike is worth hundreds of pounds.

Anyone with informatio­n that could help police inquiries, or knows the potential whereabout­s of the bikes, is asked to call 101, or speak to any officer.
