Woman had heroin

A WOMAN accused of possessing heroin with intent to supply has admitted simple possession of the Class A drug.

Maria Blair, 38, of Blackness Road, admitted committing the offence at Peddie Street on September 22 last year, while on bail. Fiscal depute Marie Irvine said Blair was in possession of 6.8 grammes of the drug, valued at more than £600.

Sheriff Alastair Carmichael called for reports and continued bail until May 14.
