Not such a bright idea

HERE we go again, about to spend £4.5 million replacing street lights with LED lights with inferior illumination which could cause security and safety problems.

These lights can be observed in Arbroath Road and Riverside Drive. A total waste of money.

We are told that that the council will save £900,000 per year.

If we switched all the lights off we would save millions but that would be ridiculous.

Maybe the people who come up with these ideas could think about retiring and we will save more as a city.
