Spiked drink disturbing

IT was disturbing to read the story in the Tele about Cheryl Brown, whose drink was apparently spiked in an Edinburgh bar.

Although this particular incident happened in Edinburgh, it could have been in any town or city in Scotland.

What on earth would possess anybody to put a drug in someone’s drink, not knowing how severe a reaction they might suffer?
