S1 PUPILS at Levenmouth Academy had a visit from Dr Damon Herd, of Dundee U n i v e r s i t y ’s D u n d e e Comics Creative Space, who showed them how to create comics as part of the S1 Book Awards — a pilot literacy project.

Dr Herd said: “Comics are a creative way to learn without realising you are learning.”
