Food-filled holiday fun big hit with families in Mid Craigie

IT might have been cold, wet and windy with Easter snow this week rather than bunnies and sunshine, but for families in the Mid Craigie area of Dundee, things have been looking bright.

Thanks to the staff at the Brooksbank Centre, along with Dundee Bairns, youngsters living in the neighbourh­ood are having a funfilled holiday that’s also easy on their parents’ pockets.

For the entire two weeks, families are invited to go along to take part in organised activities as well as being able to enjoy a free breakfast or lunch.

One mum, Sara Hay, 36, said the activities at the centre were proving to be a godsend.

Sara, mum to Brandon, five, and Findlay, four, said: “I’m a single mum and the holidays can be a very difficult and expensive time.
