Charity sports dinner

AN annual Question of Sport-style event in Dundee hopes to raise thousands of pounds for The Yard, a charity offering an adventure play service to disabled children.

Organised by Thorntons Solicitors and Thorntons Investments, the sports challenge dinner will take place at the Apex Hotel on May 10.

Guests will challenge each other in a sports-themed quiz in a bid to be crowned top sports brains in Tayside and take home the Dundee Sports Challenge trophy.

The fundraiser will boast a premier line-up with rugby legend Andy Nicol and Sky Sports pundit Alan McInally acting as hosts, alongside special guest Rangers legend Ally McCoist.
