Wonderful gesture

IT was wonderful to see the nurses in Ward 3 at Ninewells allowing family members to bring a very ill man’s dog in to see him. It brought a lump to my throat.

The nurses are hard-working and understaffed and work in some very stressful conditions, so to cut through the red tape and overcome health and safety issues is to be applauded.

Well done nurses — you deserve a medal.
