Perthshire derby in store at Scone

-

SCONE Thistle host Blairgowrie in what promises to be a cracking North League Perthshire derby.

Thistle are currently fourth and, while Blair trail them by nine points, they have four games in hand.

Scone have a squad of 18 available, while Blair are without Lewis McNaughton, Gordon Pirie and Robbie Hood, leaving boss Mark Brash with a pool of 16.

Kinnoull, who welcome Coupar Angus, are missing Gary Crockett due to work, plus injured pair Seb Merone and Owen Hepburn.

In addition, goalkeeper Macaulay Jarrett has been recalled by Berwick Rangers.

On a brighter note, Jordan Davidson has returned to full training after a year out though injury.

Boss Alan Cameron hopes to augment his squad with a couple of trialists.

Coupar Angus, who lost by the odd goal in three to Dundee FC’s youth side in a midweek friendly, have a full squad available.

Arbroath Vics, at home to promotion-seeking Luncarty, welcome back Kellon Lyons. Sam Clark and Scott McDowell are suspended. Keeper Gordon Chalmers returns for the Bleachers but Richie Montgomery is doubtful.
