Waver for us midfielder

-

“I’m happy to get that over the line and just to concentrate on football from now on.”

The battling midfielder has enjoyed life in the top flight after fully expecting to be plying his trade in the Championship with Brechin City after agreeing a move to Glebe Park before the Dark Blues came calling.

And he’s got his sights set on a successful future at Dens Park.

He added: “I’ve really enjoyed it.

“It’s been a step up but I think I’ve dealt with it OK and I feel like I can improve as a player here.

“I’m still young enough and I want to improve and learn every day.

“Obviously I want results to get better on the park and I want to win something with Dundee, that’s the aim.

“Even just winning every week if we can would be fine but, in football, you want to win a trophy and finish as high up the league as you possibly can.

“This season it isn’t looking like that but if we can get a good end to the campaign that’ll put us in good stead for next season I think.

“For a while, the league was tight and sometimes you’re only a couple of wins away from getting top six but we know ourselves we are in a relegation battle.

“I think if we have a good end to the season, stay up, then we can take confidence going into pre-season and next season push on.”
