New shows from Stage Academy

A KIDS’ theatre company has announced the details of its latest production.

Stage Academy Theatre School is gearing up to present Annie Kids and Legally Blonde Junior at the Whitehall Theatre on June 23-24.

Annie (act one) is based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score byThomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin.

Legally Blonde Junior (act t wo) f ollows the transformation of Elle Woods as she t ackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.

When Elle’s high school b oy f r i e n d , Wa r n e r, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she’s not “serious” enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school.
