No plea to assaults

GARY Goddard, 22, no fixed abode, appeared in private before Sheriff Simon Collins accused of assault.

He made no plea to charges of assaulting Simon Rennie at Forth Crescent on May 6, by striking him with a knife to his injury, disfigurement and danger of his life; and on the same date and place, assaulting Sarah Ritchie, his partner, shouting, swearing, grabbing her throat and knocking her to the ground. The case was committed for trial and remanded.
