City is losing out because air fares are too high

-

I WAS reading recently about Dundee Airport.

I’m a frequent flyer to London and only the other night I was looking for flights from Dundee for me and a friend.

This was coming up at £380 – far too high.

So I went to Ryanair and got a £75 return. That’s the reason Dundee is losing out.

I’ve been on a flight with only seven people on it.

Surely it’s better to fly with a full plane.

The only way to do that is to reduce the cost.

A few weeks ago I had to change my flight from Monday to Sunday and was charged £140.

I had to pay this as I needed home, but something must be done regarding prices.

I dread to think the cost of flights for the V&A opening.

Sandra Small.

SO students have been coming up ideas for with what Dundee Airport could look like in the future.

Surely, improvements will only come if the city secures more air routes – otherwise, what’s the point?

Grounded.
