HUNDREDS of fashion enthusiast­s are expected to descend on the city centre as part of a vintage clothing extravagan­za this weekend.

The Dundee Preloved Vintage Kilo arrives at Bonar Hall in Park Place on Saturday – featuring an estimated six tonnes of secondhand clothing available f or punters.

Items i ncluding branded sportswear, jackets, jumpers, dresses, shoes, and accessorie­s – with items going at £15 per kilo.

Those looking to grab themselves a bargain can purchase a ticket for just £1.50

The event – which runs from 10am-5pm – has proven successful in the past.

On entry shoppers will be given a big bag and it’s then all down to the customer to rummage through the tubs and rails and see what they can find.

Customers will have an opportunit­y to weigh their sales bags at scales around the vintage fair.

The ever-popular Lou Lou’s Dundee Vintage Fair will also return to the city this Saturday.

Being held inside the Caird Hall’s Maryatt Hall, tickets cost £2 at the door with under 12s getting free admission.

Starting at 11am, the event will include vintage stalls including vintage fashion, accessorie­s and home collectabl­es.

As well hosting an array of vintage traders from around the UK there will also be live music on offer.

Acoustic duo Side By Side will be performing all the vintage hits from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.
