Apprentice success

FIFE’S latest generation of foundation apprentices took part in an event to celebrate their successes.

The young people met employers and representatives from Fife Council, Fife College and Skills Development Scotland (SDS) during a celebration at Windmill Campus in Kirkcaldy.

The apprenticeships have helped them take their first steps towards work before leaving school.

Depute provost Julie Ford said: “I’m so honoured to be here today to welcome the workforce of the future and hear directly from them how this programme has helped to prepare them for the world of work.”
