Morton snap up Telfer

DUNDEE United old boys Ray McKinnon and Charlie Telfer will be linking up at Morton.

The 22-year-old midfielder has signed a one-year deal after returning to Scotland following a spell playing in the Netherlands with Almere City.

McKinnon said: “We’re absolutely delighted t o have Charlie on board.

“He’s a top-class football player, a fantastic professional, who I know very well from my time at Dundee United. He played almost every game as we went to the play-offs.
