SNP not the only party to stage protest

-

IN response to Raymond Mennie – perhaps if he researched a little more he would discover it was all political parties in Scotland bar the Tories who didn’t accept the Withdrawal Bill.

Just that fact alone makes his whole letter complete drivel.

I will add that back in 1987 Donald Dewar (Labour) led 50 MPs out of the House of Commons for exactly the same reason the SNP walked out.

Perhaps the only people who don’t see what happened as a power grab are the servants of the Westminster establishment.

His welfare delayed powers is another bit of spin.

Rodric Selbie, Dundee.

I AGREE with everything Raymond Mennie said.

The SNP stunt in parliament the other day was a pre-planned fiasco.

One of their MPs left his script on their benches revealing the words to be used for their fake protest.

The SNP rule in Scotland has been an 11-year separation campaign.

They put the SNP first before our public services. It’s SNP before NHS.

Proud Scot.

WITH all the coming and going of the Brexit negotiations and the intrigue of underhanded interventions from all sides, more important are the chances we might ask for our feet and inches, pounds and ounces and miles per hour back.

While watching the US Open at the weekend, putts were shown on screen in feet and inches – oh, what nostalgia.

Let’s demand we get them back, let’s be British again.

Auld heid.
