Trial date set for man

DAIRIS Letkovskis, of Cunningham Street, will face trial next month charged with assaulting a woman in a pub.

Twenty-three-year-old Letkovskis denies that on April 12, at the Balcony Bar in Ward Road, he assaulted Debbie Smith or Clough by striking her head with his hand and placing his forehead against her forehead.

His trial will take place on July 12.
