Assault in pub denied

A WOMAN accused of assaulting a member of staff at a pub in Charleston will face trial next month.

Catherine Edgar, 41, of Brownhill Place, has denied that on April 4, at the Gaiety Bar, she assaulted Calum Cavanagh, in the course of his employment there, repeatedly threw drinking glasses at him, striking him on the head and body to his injury.

Her trial was set down for July 12.
