Rail link survey invitation
MORE than 50 businesses have signed up to a charter supporting t he reinstatement of the Leven and Thornton rail link.
Members of Levenmouth Rail Campaign (LMRC) say it is important businesses have their say. They also plan to speak to other groups, such as clubs and voluntary organisations.
LMRC chairman Eugene Clarke said the group’s aim was to ensure Transport Scotland is left in no doubt about the benefits a railway would bring.
The drive to drum up support comes as locals are being encouraged to take part i n ongoing research by consultants Peter Brett Associates.
Transport Scotland is carrying out an online survey as part of the Levenmouth Sustainable Transport Study.
Comments will be taken into account when a final report is presented later this year and organisers want as many people as possible to take part.
