Store staff in bid to find volunteers
STAFF at Marks and Spencer in Broughty Ferry got into the community spirit by holding a volunteering drive to tackle social isolation.
The chosen charity, Dundee Voluntary Action (DVA), helps people experiencing isolation by matching them with a companion.
Store staff from across the nation committed more than 40,000 hours to supporting local projects. Campbell McInally, manager of M&S Broughty Ferry, said: “We want to help raise awareness of an amazing service and attract more much-needed volunteers.”
Dundee Voluntary Action’s Clare Cockburn said: “We appreciate all the hard work of the team from M&S.”
