“It’s going to cost at least £180 to get this sorted. I haven’t been able to use my car since.”

A spokesman for Police Scotland said there may have been more damage caused.

He said: “Police Scotland is appealing for information about a series of incidents in the Lochee area between 11pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday.

“A total of six cars were vandalised or broken into on Greenbank Place, Ancrum Drive, Peel Street and Atholl Street.

“A common close on Atholl Street was also vandalised with spray paint, and is linked to the car incidents.

“The vandalised cars were either spray painted or had windows smashed.

“It is also possible other cars or property may have been damaged in the area that we have not yet been informed of, and we would like to ask anyone who has not yet notified us of any damage to their property or car to do so.”
