Fife Council co-leaders David Ross and David Alexander are keen for more people over the age of 16 to come forward to make a real difference to their l ocal areas.

SNP councillor Mr Alexander said: “Community councils can provide us, as councillors and statutory bodies, with the grassroots viewpoints and opinions which are essential to shaping services and making decisions about issues that matter to local people.”

Labour councillor Mr Ross added: “I would encourage anyone who is interested in being an independent advocate for the communities where elections are taking place to come forward and stand as a candidate.”
