Archie receives Asda cheque

All shortlisted charities receive a cheque of £500, £250 or £200 on behalf of the Asda Foundation after the final tally is counted.

The Asda store community champion Janie Cochrane (pictured above, with Scott Lorimer of Archie) was on hand to present the cheque to the foundation.

Sarah Johnston, fundraising manager for the Archie Foundation, welcomed the donation.

She said: “Thank you to the Asda West Dundee customers for choosing the Archie Foundation.

“This donation is greatly appreciated and will directly benefit the Tayside Children’s Hospital Appeal.”
