Watchdog calls for care input

-

SCOTLAND’S social care watchdog is calling on local people with experience of the sector to get involved in the development of a new long-term plan for care services.

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) wants those with “lived experience” of social services and care to contribute to the body’s new Involving People Plan and Framework.

The plan aims to bring the voices of those in care to the fore of how services are improved in the future.

It is a two-hour event, taking place at Dundee Voluntary Action, 10 Constitution Road, on Tuesday February 19.

To register for the event, search for “Developing the SSSC Involving People Plan and Framework” on event website Eventbrite.

Alternatively, you can call Nicola Mitchell at DVA on 01382 305745.

Those who cannot attend but wish to contribute can do so by contacting Maxine Dinnes by email at maxine.dinnes@ sssc.uk.com.
