Heroin offence ‘blip’

A WOMAN has been given a chance to behave herself after being caught with heroin.

Samantha Christie, 35, of Auchinblae Place, was found in possession of the Class A drug at an address in St Columba Gardens on December 14.

Solicitor Jim Laverty told Sheriff Lorna Drummond that the offence was a “blip” in Christie’s recovery from drug addiction and she was not returning to criminal behaviour.

Sentence was deferred until August 2.
