Jimenez’s warning

WOLVES striker Raul Jimenez has warned Newcastle’s record buy Miguel Almiron he must adapt quickly to be a Premier League hit.

The Magpies broke their 14-year-old transfer record to sign attacker Almiron from MLS side Atlanta United last month.

The Paraguayan is available to make his debut against Wolves at Molineux tonight.

Mexican Jimenez has been an instant success for Wolves since moving from Benfica on l oan, scoring 11 times, and has told Almiron the Premier League is a level up.

He said: “It’s a very big st e p , i t ’s v e r y , v e r y different. I wasn’t in the MLS but it’s more or less like Mexico and I think it’s a very big step for him.”
