The transfer could be completed in time for May to make his debut in the home Betfred Cup tie against Brechin City tomorrow night.

He isn’t the only player set to walk into McDiarmid Park.

Vihmann started his career with Elva, being only 16 when he made his debut for them.

Then came a move to Levadia on loan before he was snapped up by Flora five years ago, winning two league titles.

It was only in March of this year that he went to Stabaek on a two-year loan but that has been cut short and he is now heading for Saints.

During his ti me in Estonia, he played 162 games, scoring 20 goals.

With Stabaek he has netted once in 14 outings.

Vihmann made his senior international debut for Estonia just over two years ago in a 2–1 away victory over Latvia i n a friendly.

Meanwhile, Joe Shaughnessy, who opted not to return to Saints, is going on trial with Southend United.

A young Saints side won 4-2 at Jeanfield Swifts in a testimonial game f or Jeanfield keeper Mark Mitchell.
