Tenants form new business
TWO tenants at Enterprise Hub Fife in Glenrothes have come together to form a new events and marketing company.
Pierre Kruff of Rock Ya Events Group, who has 15 years of experience in events and destination management, has formed new firm Exsenses with Steven Brown of Digita Comms, who provides digital marketing and online growth strategies for businesses.
The pair exchanged ideas at the Glenrothes hub’s communal areas before deciding to launch a formal collaboration.
Pamela Stevenson, lead officer with Fife Council, said the move underlined the benefits of the coworking space. She said: “This encapsulates everything the Enterprise Hub Fife was designed to do.
“We created it from Taskforce funding as a result of the closure of the Tullis Russell factory with the aim of creating an environment where enterprising individuals and start-ups with growth aspirations could develop.” I T has been a l most 14 0 years since Dundee witnessed the u nt h i n k a ble d i sa ste r that levelled the first Tay Bridge.
The catastrophe in December 1879 inspired a similarly catastrophic work by William McGonagall – remembered for similarly unfortunate reasons.
However, the disaster has also prompted playwright Peter Arnott to create a new drama for Dundee Rep, which premieres next month.
Tay Bridge runs from August 27 to September 21 and has been inspired by the victims who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Uniquely the play, based on an idea by actor Tom McGovern, will not focus on the disaster itself.
