ST JOHNSTONE attacker
Michael O’Halloran is delighted to have a good pre-season under his belt.
O’Halloran spent the first half of last season in
Australia with Melbourne
City but came to Perth for his third stint with Saints in

He then departed for

McDiarmid Park on a permanent deal after having what he terms a
“stop-start” last three seasons.
O’Halloran explains: “I joined Rangers i n 2016 then it was back to Saints on loan then out to
Melbourne and back to
Saints. I got a torn hamstring i n Australia and rushed back from it which didn’t do it any good.
“So it was back
to
Scotland and Saints i n
January and I was determined to get a good pre-season to ensure I was fit and ready for this season. That has happened, I needed it, and now I am raring to go.”
The speedy O’Halloran has certainly lost none of his pace as he showed on
Saturday when he latched on to a Keaghan Jacobs back pass to set up Matty
Kennedy for Saints’ first goal i n their 2-2 divide against Livingston.
O’Halloran added: “I’m looking forward to the rest of the season and want to be playing every week.
“I’ve played my best football at St Johnstone and want that to continue.”
Next up for Saints is Hibs a week on Saturday at
Easter Road.
David Wotherspoon is on his way back from injury but that game may come too soon for him while Drey
Wright is still hard at it in training as he returns from long-term injury.
