United captain Reynolds taking role personally

- BY CALUM WOODGER

DUNDEE United captain Mark Reynolds admits he takes on extra pressure as his side continue to fight for the Championsh ip title.

Although United sit 10 points clear at the top of the table, and are on a seven-game winning run, defender Reynolds believes it is his responsibility to keep them grounded.

Asked if he feels extra pressure as captain, Reynolds said: “I think so, there’s three or four senior players in the changing-room that can almost dictate the mood and keep things as grounded as they need to be.

And Reynolds has warned Dick Campbell’s men will be aiming to put that result right.

He added: “Arbroath are a very good side. I think they’ve put some good performances and results together this season and they’ll feel unlucky to have come away with no points last time.

“They’ll want to come out and put that right.

“They’re a good side and every team in the league’s capable of beating everyone else.

“If we don’t concentrate on what we’re doing and keep that mentality we’ve had going into
