Residential site for over-50s

-

A NEW multi-million pound retirement development is set to be built in Carsie, near Blairgowrie.

Heritage Park Estates is set to create a gated community for the over 50s at its new Burnbank Residential Park with 38 new luxury homes.

Construction work is set to be ramped up over the summer months as the coronavirus lockdown is lifted, and will include electric gates and 24-hour CCTV security.

Nathan Smith, director of Heritage Park Estates, said: “We’re very excited to present this stunning new residential park to market at this time, and to be working with Willerby Bespoke, one of the new names in the industry. We’re also using local tradesmen and will continue to do so.”

Landscaping and infrastructure works will be done by local building firm McKenzie Burke.

Tayside firm Simple Approach Estate Agency says it has already had interested buyers from as far away as Australia.

A TAYSIDE woman has hatched her own quail chick from an egg she bought at a farm shop.

Alex Henderson, 27, has been diligently incubating her prized egg for the past fortnight.

And on Monday night “Chick Norris” came out of his shell and took a step into the outside world.

The Perth woman said: “If eggs are bought from a supermarket and just kept on a shelf rather than in a fridge, they are still fertile.

“I knew this one had life in it after checking it with a torch and it was the strongest one out of the whole lot, so I kept my fingers crossed.”
